The door in Chile

There are many German people who relocated to South America. That is particularly true in Puerto Montt where I took this picture It shows a particular Bavarian style of architecture in some of the older farm homes in the area. Puerto Montt is one of the cities rarely situated on the weather beaten coast of southern Chile. It is at the southern terminus of the Pan American highway, just north of the region of Patagonia.
